is all it took this time. usually i'd double that to get things straightened out in my mind... hmmm

it hurts to know things arent the same. especially when you fail yourself and especially when you fail others, ooh man it hurts when its someone you love too. you cant do much about it but pick yourself up, slap yourself and move on. life throws you so many damn curveballs(oh no, here comes a sports analogy)... and we keep swinging and swinging until we learn to stop and learn how to hit them. ok...so others might not understand that analogy, but heck... i do.

we should work with what we got. we ask to do better for ourselves for others... that was always my weakness, i hold myself at such a high pedastool, i forget how far the fall is. it's ok, i've learned. there will be times when i forget, times when things arent what it used to be... but really, its nice this way. it's like falling in love all over again, its starting over, mid-whatever is going on. THATS how you could pick yourself up. cause "God helps those who help themselves"

fortune cookies

so i was looking at fortunes from fortune cookies on my brother's bed and one fortune always sticks to me: "Your place in the path of life is in the driver's seat". I always found that to be true, others may seem to disagree. Some may say God would be in the driver's seat, but I'll argue that God's right next to me on the passenger seat(aka the navigator). The passenger seat person always have the map or a place to go or has the choice on where to go.

So with that said, God has a path for us all and it's our choice to take that path or not. If we chose to go down one path, He's already laid out a plan on that one and vice versa. I just thought this was interesting cause either way, we need Faith to fuel us and to believe he's still there to guide us. Ü
